David became a solicitor in 1985. He has, for the bulk of that time, specialised in litigation and has acted for a number of major banks, institutions and insurance companies. He is a also a member of the Commercial Litigation Advisory Committee to the College of Law Masters course.
In the field of Banking he has experience in the enforcement of guarantees and other securities and has also had success in having such securities impugned and set aside. In addition to acting in general insolvency and especially s.66G matters for trustees he has had to deal with recoveries under proceeds of crime legislation with experience in dealing with specialty matters involving insurance fraud.
David currently holds an appointment as an off panel specialist to one of the major insurance groups and also holds a number of statutory appointments as an investigator under the Legal Profession Act.David gives regular lectures to the insurance industry and industry bodies concerning the investigation of fraudulent claims and appropriate systems and processes to deal with and combat them.

Amanda’s career began in the banking industry where she discovered her flair for legal administration as a lending and securities officer.
After nine years with a major bank, and realising her love of legal work, Amanda actively pursued a career as a Legal Secretary and Paralegal. Since then she has gained 20 years’ experience in the legal industry in numerous roles including: secretary in commercial law, litigation, wills and estate planning, probate, family law and general practice matters, conveyancing paralegal running residential conveyancing files and property and leasing matters, mortgagee paralegal doing both mortgage securities work and Supreme Court repossession work and small claims debt recovery litigation paralegal representing a major insurer in motor vehicle accident claims.
